Tee it up for the Troops and CHOMP
For the 4th year in a row, MSpace along with InFocus will be a sponsor of Tee it up for the Troops, a NATIONAL DAY OF GOLF saluting the fallen and disabled members of our armed forces and their families. Over the past 4 years, Tee it up for the Troops has collected $1.2 mil to assist soldiers and their families that have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
This year, MSpace will be supplying technology to perform a video call from the families at Mendakota Country Club to the active soldiers in Iraq. InFocus will be providing the projectors in order to display these calls to the families along with others who would like to thank our troops. MSpace will be providing the video technology.
MSpace also donated equipment for video calls to Child Heroes of Military Personnel (CHOMP) on August 2nd 2009. This is an event put on by Tee it up for the Troops and Mall of America providing a free day of fun for children of our solders. These children enjoyed video calls to their family in Iraq, ride wristbands for the park at MOA, mini golf, movie passes and popcorn, and also rock climbing, all for free!
With veterans Ryan Heining and Joe Dowdell Sr. being the founders of MSpace and FRG, supporting our troops is an important and ongoing effort in our business. We are proud to have the opportunity to contribute to charities such as Tee it up for the Troops and CHOMP!
